It seems like marketing the Argos started from scratch after the lost 2020 season, but this is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if the team has an extended run of excellence. Most of the old diehards don’t show up to games anymore, but new fans are there to be had. The crowd for the EF was younger and more diverse than I’ve ever seen at an Argo game, and you are absolutely right that the team needs to capitalize on it and keep the momentum rolling through the off-season and beyond.
